How we help with anxiety and depression

Body and soul

Anxiety and depression affect the whole person, body and soul. We take your experience seriously and care for you as a whole person, not a set of symptoms.

What you're carrying

Fear always has an object. Together we'll explore what you're afraid of losing, what you're trying to control, and where you're looking for security.

Moving toward Christ

Suffering calls for moving toward Christ, mourning with Him, and maturing through trials. You'll learn to bring specific fears to God and take the next faithful step.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:6

Questions

Does struggling with anxiety mean my faith is weak?

No. Scripture is full of faithful people who were afraid, overwhelmed, and downcast. Your struggle is an invitation to bring your fears to God, not proof that He has given up on you.

I take medication. Should I stop?

No. Please don't change any medication without talking to your doctor. You're welcome here whether or not you take medication, and we're glad to work alongside your physician.

Is this therapy?

No. We apply Scripture to life's challenges rather than psychological techniques. Our counselors are not licensed mental health professionals and do not provide psychotherapy or mental health diagnosis.

What if I'm in crisis right now?

For immediate safety concerns, call 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988). We provide spiritual guidance, not emergency mental health services.
